Ways to get involved

Imagine a thriving community and flourishing local economy where together, we are making and doing great things for the good of our neighbours, community and town. That's the vision behind Transition Town Totnes. Our projects and groups are ever-changing and evolving, and we always welcome new volunteers, fresh ideas, as well as the revival of past projects with a new lease of life. It's all thanks to the people in our community that make these things happen.

There are three key ways to get involved:

  1. Become a volunteer. If you like the look and sound of one of our projects, get in touch to find out more via the contact details on each project page.
  2. Share the love. Simply sign-up to our newsletter - register here - or follow us on social media and share our news with friends and family to help spread the word.
  3. Make a donation. You can make a one-off donation or set up a regular payment via our Donorbox. Keep up to date with projects via the newsletter to see how money is spent.

Some of the local projects we support include low impact affordable housing, sharing skills, creating livelihoods, reducing energy costs and carbon emissions, growing our local food economy and working in partnership with other local projects.

Without the help of the community and donations from supporters, this work wouldn't be possible.

By donating through the Donorbox form, the first option is to pay with Paypal. Even if you don’t have a paypal account, click this button and it takes you through to a second page with the option to pay by credit or debit card.

Thank You.
