Time to Breathe is a space for the Totnes community to come together and attend to the inner world.

Time to Breathe is a weekly in-person meditation session, taking place on Monday lunchtimes. Each session offers simple and effective techniques for quieting the mind and opening the heart. We explore these through movement, breathing exercises and meditation.

We offer a six-week rolling programme where we introduce new practices each week. Each technique is designed to be easy to follow, and we hope that those who attend feel inspired to introduce these practices into their lives.

Time to Breathe has been a beacon of the Inner Transition community offerings, creating a safe and nurturing space for people to connect, relax and attend to their inner wellbeing. A huge heartfelt thank you to Hilary for your passion and dedication which has enabled so many people to benefit from these nurturing sessions over many years. May we all make time to breathe in our own way.

Everyone is welcome to join us at the Totnes Natural Health Centre* on Mondays from 12.30 - 1.30pm. All welcome, no need to book, suggested donation £3. We hope to see you soon.


*The Natural Health Centre is a community resource which offers all sorts of complementary therapies to the whole community for greatly reduced sums, as the therapists give three hours a week of their time with no payment, and the donations pay for the clinic to keep running. Anyone can receive two such treatments in a six-month period with the same therapist (although they can have two more with another therapist, and so on), or a series of six counselling sessions. Sometimes we may offer talks or group sessions or workshops - as offers come in.
