
Devon Grows Flax

Devon Grows Flax is a collaboration of TTT and Liflad CiC, made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players, we have been able to expand our Totnes Grows Flax pilot and are able to offer the activities outlined below.
The Devon Grows Flax project aims to uncover, revive and embed heritage flax culture throughout Devon. It will enable communities to learn heritage skills, to connect to each other and the land through shared experiences.
The project will be carried out through various events, workshops and exhibitions that enable communities to take part in flax growing, processing, tool making, spinning and weaving.

Outside of Totnes? We’re looking for flax ambassadors to create flax towns across Devon.
