Young people in Totnes are craving connection, sharing, building and being. On the 1st of August we’re holding a one day festival where young people can be held in their community to listen, talk and dance in the beautiful forested Glade in Dartington.

In collaboration with Circlewise, Transition Town Totnes, Assemble, the Totnes Trust and Sovreign Network Group, this youth festival - hosted by and for 16-30 year olds - will be an opportunity to actively focus on your wellbeing through held listening circles, yoga, saunas, singing and other workshops.
A shared lunch round a fire will lead into a youth assembly to discuss what needs to change in Devon for young people, and decide on real actions to take forward.
The evening will bring conscious celebration of our young power: expect silent discos, live music, mocktails and more!
A full programme and accessible transport options will be released soon, so stay tuned, and grab a ticket early to secure your place here.
At the festival, we'll also be exhibiting artwork from our Creative Consultation workshop at Contact Darkroom, Bridgetown, 29th July, 11am-5pm.
These two events form a series that attempts to provide power and possibility to young people in Totnes. We want to hear what is important to Youth in Totnes, and what they need to feel resourced and able to participate in the community.
If this sounds interesting to you, check out the workshop here, where we will: ‘create. dream. acetate.’
