How to Create a People's Climate Emergency Action Plan. In July 2019 Transition Town Totnes partnered with several local organisations to hold a public workshop, asking how we can best respond to the climate and biodiversity emergency. What emerged was a People's Climate Emergency Action Plan. This document describes how we planned for and delivered the workshop, for others who would like to run a similar event in their area.
Totnes REconomy Impact Report 2012- 2017. This impact report aims to assess the impact of The Totnes REconomy project from 2012 to 2017. The project has been running since 2011 with aims to develop opportunities for local people to create livelihoods and have their needs met in ways that are ecologically regenerative, fair and inclusive, and that contribute to the resilience of the community.
Caring Town Annual Report 2017. Caring Town is a local network of over 80 public, voluntary and private organisations and groups that care for our community of 23,000 people here in Totnes & District. This report provides a summary of the Caring Town network and project activities, our outputs, impacts and what we have learned so far. It includes information about our processes and documents so that others may freely use them.
Local Economic Blueprint. The Local Economic Blueprint for Totnes and District was undertaken in 2013 by the REconomy Project: Totnes. The report estimates the potential value of four key sectors of our localised economy. Together we agreed on a vision for what our local economy should be and identified projects to take this forward.

Resources from Transition Network
Transition Network have many excellent resources for new and existing Transition Towns and similar community led initiatives. Resources we particularly love are:
- Essential guide to doing Transition
- 7 essential ingredients for Transition
- 21 Stories of Transition. For COP21 in Paris in December 2015. Transition Network created ‘21 Stories of Transition: how a movement of communities is coming together to reimagine and rebuild our world‘. It is a rather wonderful overview of the Transition movement
The national REconomy Project website also has a number of practical resources available, including an events toolkit, Transition Enterprise Handbook, Transition Core Resourcing, available here.
