TTT Film Night: High Water Common Ground
March 1 @ 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm
What would YOU do if your local river flooded the streets?
Producer, Andy Clark, is an ecologist and filmmaker who, like many, only became fully aware of the prevalence and severity of flooding as an issue in the UK after the devastating floods of the winter of 2015/2016. Getting to know more and more people who’s lives had been turned upside down by the floods of that winter, Andy witnessed an inspirational drive in people to do whatever they could to protect themselves and their local environment against the threat of future flooding.
But where do you start when you want to strengthen an entire community’s, or an entire catchment’s resilience to flooding? Andy started producing High Water Common Ground, which has subsequently developed into all of High Water Film, to help people find the answers to those questions.
