Transition Walks and Talks!
The best way to find out about Transition in Totnes
Join us for a fun and interactive introduction, visiting some of the projects and gaining an insight into the overall project. A great way to get to know the town better, and the Transition activity that goes on within it.
Who for? Any one interested in learning more about Transition Town Totnes, and food in particular. (For private tours and group visits, click here.)
Food Festival Special? This walk is part of TTT's annual Forking Local Food Festival. It will still be good for anyone looking to get a general overview of TTT but we will be missing out the weir and making more references to the Food side of our work than on our usual walks and tours.
When: 10am to 12.30pm approx. We will be ending at the Food Festival Site on Vire Island.
Cost: A voluntary donation is requested and any surplus after expenses goes towards the overheads of Transition Town Totnes, a registered charity. We suggest £20 for visitors and £10 for locals, but please pay what you can or what you think it is worth - it's up to you. And we really mean that - even if it is nothing! The most important thing is that you come.
Where: Market Square, between the tree and the ramp.
Contact: Email us to book your place. If last minute, please call 07977 178214.
Access: Please note, you will be walking and standing around. Please advise in advance of any mobility issues so we can make arrangements as necessary.
Can’t do the date, or looking for something more bespoke? Contact us to discuss how we can do a tour especially for you.
