Fruit Tree Pruning Workshop

Don't miss this opportunity to learn winter-pruning skills from one of Devon's most expert tree pruners. There will be demonstrations and also hands-on pruning practice on fruit trees. Charles Staniland is an expert on orchard care, working with Orchardlink. This workshop will be useful for anyone with fruits trees or for anyone wishing to learn more about this skill. The workshop will take in the Totnes Incredible Edibles community orchard at Follaton and then move on to the community fruit trees planted by Totnes Incredible Edibles in the town cemetery.
Cost around £6-8 per head, depending on numbers.
Meet at the car park at Follaton Arboretum, by South Hams council offices, just off the Plymouth road. Take the first turning into the car Park from Totnes and meet at the gate leading up to the arboretum.
You could please bring secateurs etc if you have them, but not essential – we have a limited number of spare secateurs.
