Wed 17th July, 7-9pm, St John's Church, Bridgetown
An evening event with Rob Hopkins talking to poet Drew Dellinger, 7 - 9pm at St John’s Church.
We are very excited that poet Drew Dellinger will be coming to Totnes to share his poetry in conversation with Transition movement founder Rob Hopkins on the evening of 17th July. This looks like being a remarkable event.
OUR VISION is to invite you, people of Totnes and area, many of whom have been passionately involved with the Transition movement and more recently with Extinction Rebellion and the Student Climate Strikes – to write the poems or just words that want to be spoken through you, in response to Drew’s question ‘What did you do when you knew?'.
We have no idea how many people may be inspired to contribute, and we would love for some of these to be shared on the night with Drew and Rob. We hope that other ideas will emerge as to what to do if a lot of us are moved to write or create images.
We see this as an Inner Transition/Regenerative Culture event. Everyone is welcome, the cost is £8, £5 concessions or whatever you can afford - young people by donation.
Please send contributions to innertransition@
‘May poetry and the creativity of life nourish our souls, our actions and our activism’.
With love from the Pulse group of Inner Transition.
