Filmmaker Alex Eaves promotes direct action to combat the global problem of waste and pollution caused by climate change and mass consumption. According to Alex, traditional recycling is not enough. We need to stop irrational consumption practices and focus on the good things in life. By inviting us to partake in his journey, Eaves teaches us the importance of sustainable thinking first-hand. Along the way, he showcases the beautiful, quirky and ingenious ways people are transforming trash into treasure. Reuse! Because You Can’t Recycle the Planet shows that alternative (and fun) ways of approaching global problems can do wonders for people, planet, and wallet.
The film will be shown at the Dartmouth Inn on the Plains. Doors open 7.30pm for an 8pm start. Please buy a drink at the bar as the venue is free.
The film is 60 min long - there will be an opportunity for discussion afterwards.
