Our 3rd TTT Film Festival launches on 9th at the Civc Hall, and continues until 12th March, with33 sessions of inspiring, solution-based films, including: War Dance, How To Let Go of the World, What Are We Waiting For, Demain, This Is My Land, Tall as a Baobab Tree, Wetheuncivilised, Angel Azul, and Becoming Indigenous at the Civic Hall, the Barn Cinema Dartington, and the Vintage Cinema Bus.
On Saturday night, March 11th is Conversations With The Wind, featuring poet Alice Oswald and musician Andy Sheppard – an extraordinary encounter between two world-class artists and a contemporary silent film created by Geoff Dunlop.
At the Thursday night launch event, will be a celebration of 10 years of Transition Town Totnes, featuring film shorts, highlights of our achievements, and more, compered by local poet Matt Harvey, and of course a well-stocked bar for celebratory drinks! There may even be a surprise or two.
The TTTFF pop-up café & bar will be open at the Civic Hall all day Saturday (10.00am – 9pm) and Sunday (10.30am - 7.30pm). Treat yourself from a range of homemade cakes, delicious savouries from local caterer The Kitchen Table, snacks from Wild & Curious Foraging and Portlebay Popcorn, organic teas & coffee, and in the evenings a range of wines, New Lion Brewery beers & Hunt's Cider from the bar. Join us for a snack, lunch or tipple! Vegan and gluten free options are available.
There are also four film-making workshops over the weekend, at Birdwood House – one on animation, one on story-telling and two for kids & young people.
