A celebration of the natural world through performed poetry, prose and instrumental improvisation.
Wild Words and Music celebrates the natural world with humour, sadness and satire, with readings from both familiar authors and the lesser known. Original music with Appalachian dulcimer, Hang drum, cello and Cajon provides additional colour to a most entertaining evening.
This is a Film Festival fundraiser. The performance, by an acclaimed local group of writers and musicians, will last about 2 hours; refreshments and delicious cakes will be served in the interval. The Network of Wellbeing's monthly Community Pot Luck will take place in The Methodist Church Hall beforehand, starting 6pm - take some food to share and combine the two for an enjoyable and sparkly evening.
Tickets will be available on the night. £7/£5 concession.
VISIBLE INK is a performance group working with the written word and music to devise themed entertainments for charities. Members are Malcolm Baldwin; Jane Barsby; Amanda Cuthbert; Eliza Jacobs; Anna Lunk; Martin Sorrel and Chris Waters.
