A community day celebrating some of our most ancient crops: grains and pulses. Grown in Totnes has come together with Schumacher College to invite you to our Split Pea Party! We would like your help in separating peas from wheat, and in crushing Einkorn, the oldest wheat variety, which will be used to make a truly local beer.
These communal tasks will be carried out by hand and will be accompanied by entertainment and some fine, local, warming food. We will be asking for donations to cover the cost of food and entertainment - please contact julia.tholozan@gmail.com to book your place.
If you'd like to receive the Grown in Totnes newsletter, please contact emily@transitiontowntotnes.org.
