Continuing the TTT Arts Network's monthly open meetings, this month with a workshop hosted by Sue Coulson and Michael Heather from the EVA Radio Show, on Soundart Radio 102.5FM on the topic of Working with Sound.
The intention is a really FUN workshop in the form of a game of chance, based on the idea of taking a journey. The workshop is tuned in to overcoming the fear of the microphone and the embarrassment of listening to your own voice (you will be really surprised by the number of people who hate listening to themselves). Everyone will encouraged to contribute to the making of a short group recording, suitable for broadcast.
What to bring: yourself and an object that makes a sound such as pebbles in a box, a whistle, drum or tin, scrunchy cellophane paper (be creative and keep it simple, it doesn't have to be a sophisticated musical instrument).
