Applied permaculture in South Devon: an IPC 2015 Edge Event, 16th to 19th September
Featuring Transition Town Totnes, Agroforestry Research Trust, Landmatters Permaculture Community and lots more!
The Transition idea was born out of Permaculture and we are very honoured to be asked to host an Edge Event to follow the International Permaculture Convergence 2015 which will be taking place in the UK (10-16 Sept. Click here for details.)
From 16th to 19th September Totnes will be playing host to an international crowd of permaculturalists as we will be showing off the various ways permaculture design and inspiration is being applied in South Devon.
The programme will include two parties where the participants can meet as many local people as possible and we get to really celebrate what we do and where we live. We also hope to learn from the experience many of these visitors will bring, reach new audiences with our work and raise some funds for TTT in the process.
We hope you'll be able to join in. There are two events you might like to put in your diary right now:
- Wednesday 16th, 6-10.30pm - The Big Totnes Welcome, reception party in the Civic Hall
- Friday 18th, 7-11pm - All Aboard! Evening River Dart Cruise, Locally
The programme is also available to people not on the IPC so please promote widely. An overview of the programme is here which includes links to a detailed itinerary and how to book.
