Flooding & Climate Change community workshop - Can we talk about climate change now?
Extensive flooding affected hundreds of people in the South of England earlier this year. With winter just around the corner, communities are asking questions such as:
- Is the flooding going to get worse?
- How is climate change connected?
- How can we talk to others about the risks to our communities?
- What can we do?
Join others in your community for this interactive workshop to discuss these issues and plan for the future.
Places are free but please book here.
For more information about this event, check our blog post about our flooding workshops as well as our "After the floods: communicating climate change around extreme weather" report.
This workshop is facilitated by COIN, a charity based in Oxford that does research and consultancy work on climate change communication. Our aim is to create a society where climate change and its human impacts are understood, accepted and acted upon.
