From Totnes Town Council:
The outcome of the HATOC meeting on Friday was that the Committee voted to keep the ETO in place until at least November. However, the Committee has agreed to meet again in September to consider a proper submission about Shared Space if one is ready by then.
In order to meet this deadlineand to help us all to work together, the Town Council would like to host aWeekly Sounding Board on Shared Space, throughout July and August.
The meetings will take place in the Guildhall at 7pm on Wednesdays and the following organisations are invited to send along a representative as and when they can:
Chamber of Commerce; Reopen Totnes; Friends of the Earth; Transition Town Totnes; Totnes on the Move; Totnes Traffic and Transport Forum; Bridgetown Alive!; TotSoc/HBEF; Totnes Preservation Trust; Public Space Forum; Bob the Bus; Totnes and Dartmouth Ring and Ride; Totnes Cycling Group.
