Last Wednesday, the weekly shared meal at the Transition office became a special commemoration of the vitality and dedication that Lou Brown has given to TTT over the last six years as well as celebration to wish her good luck in her latest venture into motherhood.
As someone who has only recently become involved in TTT, Lou's numerous projects and past initiatives are slowly revealing themselves to me, and always filling me with awe and appreciation. However, as I am sure no one can deny, her capable dedication and warm hearted generosity are instantly recognisable to all who meet her and work with her and will be sorely missed whilst she is away. Lou has promised to remain very much in touch with TTT during her leave (which, I for one am exceeding grateful for as I desperately trying to complete the already overdue Bulletin this month!) but I am sure all at TTT join with me in wishing her and her husband, James, joy and serenity as new parents and we look forward to welcoming her back with her new recruit in good time! As Lou put it herself - "Resistance is fertile!"
