FANTASTIC Meeting today! In-depth conversations and contemplations around how we support each other practically. We also explored how we can embrace diversity and conflict? In our own group and in the wider community? It sparked a great discussion and we want to continue to explore this and be patient and kind to each other as we do our best to serve and support our wonderful and also vulnerable spirits.
And here are our notes from the meeting...
From Michele:
Spoke about her successful experience with grants/funding environmental education and seeing if anyone is interested in collaborating in next year's winterfest and making it a more fully funded event with paid posts to offer skill shares?
Also, a generous OFFER_ She has compiled a forest school handbook which is a good reseouce if you are doing the level 3 forest school coursework at Bridgewater College. YOu are welcome to use this and ask for it from her.
Contact Michelle if interested. Michelle Naturekids <naturekidz@hotmail.co.uk>
Fab idea from the meeting initiated especially by Garin-
"Loose Ends"
Peer Support Creative Completing or as Gary puts it:"tying up all those hydra headed loose ends of unfinished projects" inspired by winterfest "month of the mender" to use the months of darkness to mend repair prepare and finish things. making finishing things a dedicated issue in its own right as so many creatives ( at least speaking for my self ) are great at initiating projects, but not so good at completing them, being then left with those unfinished snapping hydras plaguing the back of our minds. So, the offer is to create a space to invite sharing what each person has completed or repaired or moved on as a part of the TTTAN Moots. 3 of us have begun by sharing what we hope to finish in the next week and we will check in with each other as a 3. We also agreed that it was crucial in this case to agree not to be tempted to start a new thing amongst these for the moment so as not to dilute this clear intention for the week. Its a great idea
Appreciations round:
We also spoke of the powerful effects of simple gratitudes and how at the end of each meeting it would be great to have a simple optional round of appreciations. Either for something that you gleaned from the meeting or from your life. We all were stopped a bit in our tracks by the simple power of this and agreed it would serve us well to remember this in the midst of it all.
EDAP reminder:
Please DO bring your suggestions and offers for any changes, adds, new ideas for the EDAP to the next tTTAN meeting. This will be our last chance before the Strategy day to offer our insights and innovations etc. Here is the link for the pdf of OUR section. Also feel free to e your thoughts to me and Emma if you like or cannot attend.
