Winterfest was once again a warm, creative, interesting place with lots of cake! Over in a quiet corner the Inner Transition group held a space for peaceful conversations and reflection. We took the theme of mending and applied it to our inner lives.. inviting people to reflect on the question..
What is broken in you, in your family or relationships, in the community, in our world. And what would it be like if it were mended?
Answers were written on a luggage label and added to the not-quite-a-tree..
Here's some of what was said - mostly people write just the "how would it be if it were mended"
Broken.. Our deep connection to divinity in all, i.e. the separation from ourselves and all… Mended - humility deep patient calm understanding gentleness allowing revelation!!
People would have more time for each other
Healing and forgiveness in family
Communication… Honest
Unity one tribe
More loving relationship with my body – taking care of it better and appreciating it
Health and abundance for humanity
Connection.. connection would feel flowing, enjoyable, stimulating and heartfelt
More open and responsible to oneself
Relationships.. warmth intimacy cooperation tolerance love
I don’t see my son.. I would love to see him
Fear of it all “falling apart”.. Best to live in the “now”.. “nothing happens ‘til the time” – (Rasta saying)
Easy and trusting communication between brother and sister
A peaceful harmonious world
Togetherness
Education for the whole human being
Being a good friend
Kind thoughts for my sister
Broken - people fighting each other.. Solution - people listening to and caring for each other
I want to mend mummies key
Trust in my ability to communicate and work together less focus on money
No MPs messing with the freedom of the press. Power to the people
Sibling trust
Our thanks to all who came.
