Over the next five weeks, REconomy Project Totnes and Schumacher College will play host to 7 incredible 'new economy' lectures, back to back to back. The series begins Monday, October 15th with "Resilience and Land-based Economics", a talk exploring the ideas of Henry George, an innovative economist who has influenced many, including Charles Eistenstein.
On the 17th, It's "Currencies for a Complex World". Tony Greenham, TTT trustee and researcher at the new economics foundation, along with Jonathan Dawson, chair of the Economics of Transition programme at Schumacher College. They will be exploring the idea of creating "polycultures of exchange" - complementary currencies, LETs, time banks, gifting - and how they can contribute to a new economics.
