Calling all young people (and their parents and teachers)....
Are you an Earth Inheritor?
Do you want to meet other young Europeans and have a great time?
This summer, local young people are invited to join in with one-day cultural exchange programmes right on our doorstep. We have students with us from schools in Europe who are here to learn our language and culture, and they would love you to join them on one of their adventures and even show them around.
Get to know the River Dart area, connect with other young people from Europe, share what really matters to you and begin to build your future together.
From across the world people have been coming to Totnes to learn about the Transition story – the big idea that has made Totnes a little bit famous. We have shown around government and business delegations from places like Korea, France and Holland, and school groups from Sweden, Argentina and various parts of the UK and more. They have all had a great time getting to know our special part of the world, particularly Totnes and the River Dart. This is a chance for young people to find out what it is all about.
Adults can come too, but we ask that they must be under the supervision of a child or teenager (recommended 11-16 years).
Please see the attached pdf for details. Please print it out and circulate it wildly!
