We offer programmes of tours, education and personal development around the Transition theme.

• Transition Tours – official tours of Transition Town Totnes.
• Leadership for Resiliency - high impact learning experiences that are fun, adventurous, inspirational and with a real sense of purpose.
• Source to Sea Exploration – field study and adventure trips that follow the River Dart from its birthplace on wild Dartmoor to its magnificent outflow.

We mostly work to private groups – schools, universities, work groups, other Transition Towns or NGOs. We run some open programmes.

Open programmes 2012:

Transition Walks on Friday a fun and interactive intro for locals and visitors:

2 to 6pm, starting and ending at the TTT office with a walk around town in between.  By discretionary donation, suggestion £20 visitors, £10 locals.

Dates:  20/04; 27/07; 10/08; 24/08; 7/09; 19/10

Food, Homes and Energy dates for our themed residential programmes to be announced in March.

Social Enterprise -  a day looking at how we are reinvigorating the local economy through Transition Enterprise, community businesses and relocalisation.

Why we exist

We are project of Transition Town Totnes (TTT) to provide quality visitor services for the increasing number of people who are coming to Totnes to learn about Transition.  We aim to provide the best possible experience to visitors, to maximise benefits to the local community, to disseminate Transition to a broader range of people and to create a reliable source of income for TTT.

Our relationship to Transition

We link into TTT via the Business and Livelihoods Group and the Education Group, and work with other groups for specific themed programmes such as food, energy and building and housing.  We are a closed group and do not send a representative to the Core Group.

We also have a direct link into the Transition Network via Transition Training, by whom most of our trainers are accredited and all our delivery staff are trained.
