Who is the intended audience?

• members of TTT projects (though attendees from other local community groups are very welcome, for a small fee)

What skills or knowledge do they need to develop

• Knowledge of potential & best ways of getting funding for projects
• Skills required include:
  • Researching potential funders (list of current local/national funders will be provided)
  • Researching evidence of need 
  • Defining outcomes 
  • Writing good applications

What form of course delivery will be used?

• Group work, sharing experience
• Information giving
• Good practice materials and resources  
• Reviewing actual examples

What are the planned outcomes for participants of the training?

• Increased knowledge of potential sources of funding 
• Improved understanding of funders requirements 
• Increased skill in communicating benefits of project 
• Have gained new ideas to improve the effectiveness of their applications 
• Know more about the resources available to help them achieve the funds.
