Come and celebrate this abundant, versatile and neglected resource that matches beef steak pound for pound in protein! Learn from Korean, Native American, British and emerging cultures.


Includes:

How to process the acorns, how to cook different recipes and make acorn flour, stories and folklore, politics and potential, and an acorn feast around the fire.

 

What to Bring:

1.     Acorns! Gather a bag now (as many as you can), keep them dry and no wormy ones – though sprouting is fine

2.   Dish of food or drink to contribute to an acorn-centred potluck feast

3.     Plate, cup and cutlery

4.     Outdoor gear if joining earlier, slippers for indoors

5.     Donations to cover ingredients can be made in acorns (to restock winter supplies) or coins

           (No dogs please)
