I’m very sorry to have to announce that the TTT Car Free day Sponsored Bike Ride has been cancelled.  Unfortunately we failed to rally enough marshals to ensure adequate safety for all participants especially school children.

On  European Car Free Day

Tuesday 22nd September 2009

4.00 – 6.00pm

To mark European Car Free Day, TTT is planning a pleasant bicycle ride along our country lanes which everyone can enjoy.  The starting points for the rides will be local community halls in the 15 parishes surrounding Totnes, with all rides leading to Totnes Civic Square for some refreshments and light entertainment.  Riders can join the ride for short or longer sections of the routes.

Schools, families, commuters, cycling groups and anyone with an interest in cycling can register for the ride and enjoy the fun.  Clubs, organisations, offices, companies and friends are welcome to get a team together.  We are asking everyone who rides to get some sponsors.  Half the sponsorship money riders raise can go to your school, local club or favorite charity, the other half (or all if you prefer) can go to TTT to support our work.

Registration has now opened and you can use the form below to let us know you are coming and to get your registration number (s) for your sponsorship form(s).  Feel free to make as many copies of these forms are you like, but each rider will need their own registration number to validate the sponsorship form and so we can ensure we have enough marshals for the rides.
